Diane Atturio

Diane is a native Californian. She was born and raised in San Diego. She graduated from the University of Oregon in education.

Diane lived with her husband and three children in Ventura for 27 years, and received most of her art education at Ventura Community College. When her husband retired in 2003, they built their home in the Lompoc countryside.

Diane is inspired by her surroundings. "Nature feeds my soul". Watercolor is her first love, but she enjoys working in oils, colored pencil, clay and collage.

"I am entangled in too many passions" is Diane's favorite quote. When she is not painting, she fills her time with gardening, traveling, hiking, reading, fiber arts, her children and grandchildren.
